I had a chance to go to a friend's house for an early Easter dinner, but I declined. First of all, I don't like to eat lamb. And I simply relish my Sunday's. I need to be alone to recharge and prepare for the upcoming week.
I wish I could get into this job, but I just don't seem to be able to get good grasp on it.
Went to see "Mister Roberts" at the Kennedy Center yesterday. It was very enjoyable. The Washington Post gave it good reviews, and I have to agree with it. It wasn't standing O good (like "On Golden Pond" with James Earl Jones was), but it was a nice production. All 4 primary actors were very good, especially the guy that played Ensign Pulver. You know, a couple of times, I could actually here Jack Lemmon. And yes, I cried at the end. Great set, great ensemble. It was just a lot of fun.
